5, 6, 7 and Ate!

Have you guys been waiting for a post?  Oh wait, do any of you actually look to check this site anymore?  I'll write some more post once I can get a head count on who actually still visits here. Once I confirm Bobby hasn't ruined this league I'll get a more extensive post up.  That and Dan was in charge of last week.  Whoops! Thanks for being more patient than this guy.

McMichael is not a very patient persn when it comes to first downs or Pool Boy Pick 'Em results.

Week 5

Thank you to those who got in my ear and reminded me this league has been more about the post than about actually making the picks.  With the way the league shook out this summer I have slacked off thinking others really haven’t been paying attention or cared.  Turns out I was wrong and I thank you for reminding me of that.  I aim to have post up every week from now on.  Funny how those most involved with wanting money IE Bobby (who owes me 50 and the clock is ticking) is the first to vote it away.  Can’t wait when you started getting taxed like you make 200grrr but are actually 500g’s in debt.  I’ll see you voting for Santorum/ Palin 2016.

Anyways, on to this week where I watched from 3 rows up while Chiefs fans viciously booed Matt Cassell getting hurt.  Pretty amazing stuff, even Ravens fans were utterly appauled.  And if I’m being honest so was 75% of Chiefs fans.  What did I really learn from this experience?  50 years of losing is really starting to wear on KC folks and they are only jolly before and up until halftime.  After that the high expectations that Obama has been promising us for 4 yrs….sorry where was I, Scott Pioli (sort of resembles Pelosi, doesn’t it?) promised them, ish is starting to hit the fans which resulted in people hitting my new truck.  Not cool.  Oh, and I listened to Mason Crosby choke on the radio on the drive home while some guy screamed coltswincoltswincoltswin all as one word for about 5 minutes.  It was unbiased programming though.

Pick of the Week

Nobody, I was going to give it to Pandrews or Jurch, but realized both either didn’t speak up to Galmiche’s rant email or were too afraid to send it to everyone.  It takes balls to get pick of the week and you both are missing one.

Worst Pick of the Week

Bobby!  Yes, you did win but it took an absurd effort from Jeff Triplett to make it happen.  You used all your mojo on this pick my friend.  And to think I thought you lost all your good Karma sometime when you were dating Young.  Somehow he’s still got it!

Down Goes Finley Down Goes Finley

That’s right folks Sam Finley is no longer the champ, the trophy, will switch into a new mans hands this year.  After a long not very storied run, Sam is out after just 5 short weeks.  And to think Sam, you made it 16 weeks playing solo last year.  Light returns to the kingdom…actually I’m just out with one of my picks this year.  Damn.  Oh, and bye to Fitzpatrick too.  Another year another brutal loss.  Actually, I take that back this is your first brutal loss; losing on the Eagles 3 times were all highly questionable decisions on your part last year.  3 times!  Good Lord!

Pick of the Week

Shit, this was 3 weeks ago, I don’t know.

Worst Pick of the Week

LaTrnnnt!  1 Cause you picked the Eagles.  Read last weeks post, but it also gave you your first loss.  The man was in the driver’s seat and threw it all away for some loose women.  Trent juggles his women as well as Mike Vick holds onto the football and together, they are a bad combo.  Trent, stay away from the Eagles and Mr Mexico.  Stay far away.

Two more Down

Saying goodbye to Neil is usually one of the saddest parts of the Pick Em’ for me every year.  1 because I truly enjoy getting drunken text messages with Neil's picks every evening.  I never know who the guys is going to pick.  He’s this leagues, Biden.  You just don’t know what he is going to say or do on any given occasion.  This unforatuntely, is only Neil’s second hardest loss of the year.  The amount his family has donated to the Romney campaign in 8 years is the hardest….

We also say goodbye to Marcus, although, this may have also only been the 2nd worst news Marcus got this week.  We’ll let Lindsay Arnold explain the rest.  (Tugs colar, deletes post, has another beer, couple more, puts post back up, deletes it again, has a shot, puts it up again....)

Week 7

I’m out, ok.  I picked the Bills, I don’t know what happened.  I don’t know why I made that  decision I don’t know!  I don’t knooooow Margo!  Anyways, every year I set up this damn league for you guys.  Every year!  I never win.  Ever!  Ever!  Ok!  You want to know what this Sunday afternoon looked like for me?!  Watch the clip below.  Spot on.  That was my emotional roller coaster.  Except this time I found out as I walked out of the Packers scorching of the Rams.  So instead of being happy and pumped I tried to break thru the glass at the St Louis Arch.  Of course only my wife got the treatment from the video, because you guys weren't there for me, like ever.  She also hates this league and doesn’t take any part in it.  It went over well, thanks for asking.

F.  All of you guys.  Just do me the honor of watching that damn video.

Week 8

I’m instilling a new practice this year.  It’s called hungry eyes.  Each week I’ll try and post a picture of someone’s eyes and you guys tell me who’s hungry eyes are they?  Que Eric Carmen’s song.

The winner who guesses it gets a 25% discount on the Re Up entry if you haven’t already agreed.  Consider it a Re-Up bailout.

So Who’s Hungry Eyes are they?  Extra Bonus if you can tell me how hungry these eyes are.
(Picks must be made in the comment section, no authorized or outside parties allowed.  Any tampering or misuse will be prosecuted by the Pool Boy Lawyer in which case you have nothing to worry about.  Subject to approval  Must be 18 years or older to enter.  Subject to discrimination based on your income level and heritage.)

If only you knew how Hungry these eyes were...

Pick of the Week

Paul Andrews!  Well this was a tough decision, because you know.  Everyone had large balls and picked the Packers so I didn’t have a lot of options.  I’m glad the Packers made you all sweat it out.  Bitches, no I’m not still pissed from last week.

Worst Pick of the Week!

Trent and Justin!  Woof not a good time for the Vikes to lay an egg at home.  Nice pick guys, keep watching the Sports Center expert picks these next couple of years and tell me how this league keeps working out for you.  Remember the only worse pick when you pick the Vikings is knowing the Vikings had the worst pick of the 2010 draft.  Christian Ponder everybody.  Did you get the joke?  Cause he was picked really high and sucks.

Time to Say Goodbye

Few people have fallen quicker from the Promised Land (Ben Clark, Kevin Clark, Galmiche, Hollywood, Hollywood, Hollywood, Lamb, Millar, Stone, Lindsay Arnold and Weiss just to name a few) then Trent has.  In life and in the Pool Boy.  Who thank you tirelessly after you put on another good league and get ousted without even sniffing the trophy.  Damnit, you guys stop.  I’m not bitter.  I’m really not upset anymore.  Trent you’re the sole loser this week.  Sole loser!  Feels good huh?  Yeah, feels good doesn’t it?  Keep on feeling things.  Always the Re-Up which you’re too cheap to enter into!  And to think it’s a 3rd of what you spend in gas in that slut of a vehicle you drive to Vancouver every week.  What a slut.

Anyways, moving on.  Not like I’ve had a lot of tough breaks this year in sports or anything.  Not like I’ve watched Romo on the Giants leave hanging sliders and cut fastballs over the plate in 3 series or anything.  You know cause the Braves got away with a ton of those over the years and stuff.  The Re-Up Starts this weekend.  Week 9.  For all of those who haven’t been checking the email it is losers addition.  That means you can only pick the Browns, or Jags to lose 1 time a week.  Finally I can root for something just in this world.  Anyways, if we get enough guys I’ll put this sweet 95 Niners SB Champions T-Shirt up for grabs for the winner.  Right now we are sitting at 10 entrants a couple of no’s and a bunch of no responses.  I’m only willing to part with it with enough entries or by burning it when the Niners play the Pack in the playoffs.  Picture below.  Have a great weekend.

  1. Dear McAndrews,

This is what we get for 4 weeks of success. Because the Seattle beat the Green Bay CheeseWhiz on Week 3?

The guy who tried to run a good old African dictator coup d'etat on you is in the lead and this is what we get.

    I'm offended.

  2. Before you all half heartely agree with Pandrews anyways. Note this comment was said before any of this was written. Also, congrats Pandrews. First post of the year. It's week 9 you assholes. Post on the blog!!!

  3. Count me in for the re-up if that niners tee is up for grabs. Either that or I will just go take it from Lynn's house

  4. Hahahaha, STUPID WISE MEN!

I'm totally down for the ReUp, and I apologize to all for shirking my post writing duties. I could blame it on having to chauffeur McAndrew's bear-like body around all last week (and by mentioning it I secretly am), but really there's no good excuse (except for that one I just used).

    My pick:
I'm not totally clear on how many strikes we get on the ReUp. If it's one and done, then I'm picking the Jags to lose. If we've got 2 strikes, I'm picking the Redskins in the vain hope the Redskins Rule works this year (look it up!)
